Huge fan of Roger Federer - I'll pretty much try and watch all his matches from Grand Slam level right down to ATP 250. When I'm not watching or tweeting about tennis I play regularly myself and use this blog to share my thoughts on Fed and tennis in general.
I am interested in analysing professional tennis with opinions and tutorials on interesting matters. I have my own blog, see link below, in which I write articles (from time to time) looking at specific issues relating to different players. I play tennis and try to play like Roger Federer!
I suppose I should write something clever here, unfortunately, I don't feel I have the charisma nor the matching wit to pull that off, at least...not without looking like a complete douchebag. It's all good though because you've already taken note of my self-deprecating humor and that needed to be established.
I've been a dedicated Fed fan since the US Open final in 2008. I believe there is no one greater than Roger Federer when it comes to producing the most incredible shots in tennis and that's why I make videos that are primarily focused on the Swiss Maestro's best points. Federer has been my favourite player to watch for years and will always be.
Your average 22 year Roger Federer fanatic who breaks tv remotes when Roger flubs a break point with a chipped second serve return that floats long, punches walls when he shanks that back hand and yells so loud that the neighbors come running when he misses that easy put away. But then again he's the tennis player I've always tried to emulate- backhand shanks, headbands, fist pumps et al.
I have a keen interest in the future stars of the sport, I have closely followed Under 20 players in every Pro tournament since the start of 2011, that's more than 1500 tournaments in 2 years. I'm passionate about tennis statistics and the history of the game.
I am a diehard Roger Federer fan and think he is the undisputed greatest player ever. I love tennis more than anything else in the world, and have played for 11 years - the tennis court is like my second home. I make regular tournament updates and comment on mostly everything to do with men's tennis, so check back regularly whenever there is tennis being played!
Luke tries to capture the ‘niche’ audience of dedicated tennis fans who want in-depth technical analysis of matches and individual players as well as discussing popular topics but aims to present a unique take on them.
Roger Federer inspired me to take up the sport of tennis. I believe he is the GOAT because I don't see anyone who can better his resume. His loss at Wimbledon 2008 really made me love him and the sport; the only time I watch tennis is when he plays. If you are going to read my posts, be prepared for a thorough technical analysis.
